Mount Kenya Safari Club lies on the equator, on the rugged slopes of Mount Kenya, some 3 hrs from Nairobi. Originally the private haven of movie star William Holden, this famous country hotel is the perfect retreat. It is spread over 100 acres of manicured gardens, trout filled streams, and offers spectacular views of Mount Kenya.

The diverse rooms and cottages are charmingly decorated, from the romantic riverside cottages, family bungalows, cosy studio rooms to three luxury villas. The club has a total of 114 ensuite rooms, each with its own club-like charm with a log fireplace, which is lit every evening.

The restaurant serves a buffet breakfast, buffet lunch and 9-course dinner. The Mountain View Bar and Lounge is open throughout the day and evening. The Club has a heated swimming pool, beauty parlour and sauna.
